Sharpening up in Hathersage to help a good cause
A charity knife-sharpening event is taking place in Hathersage on Saturday in aid of asthma sufferers.
Anyone who would like their kitchen blades sharpened by Mick ‘The Knifeman’ Fox - who runs Sheffield-based firm UltraSharp - is invited to call into Bowyer’s Butchers on Main Road between 8am and midday.
Butcher Paul Bowyer will be doing a barbecue. Knives can be dropped off and collected later if they are wrapped and labelled. Proceeds go to Asthma UK.
