Pupils showcased their dancing skills during a festival hosted at Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel.
More than 100 youngsters from Brookfield, Netherthorpe, Newbold, Springwell, Tupton, Hasland Hall, St Mary’s, Lady Manners and Anthony Gell schools took part the 10th Secondary Dance Festival last week.
They performed a total of 23 contemporary, classical or modern dances.
Mark Tournier, partnership development manager at the Chesterfield School Sport Partnership, said: “It was a fantastic celebration of dance and how dance can support the growth of young people.”
