There are exciting changes ahead for the Matlock Mercury and we want YOUR paper to reflect YOUR views!
Next month we will be re-launching the paper with some great new features and a fresh new look.
We’re looking for readers to become columnists and write about their experiences and opinions, to reflect fully the communities we serve.
Maybe you’re a working parent juggling job and homelife, perhaps your a student with a slant on today’s youth or maybe you’re a business boss with views on the local economy.
Whatever your opinion, we’d love to hear it.
It’s easy for you to get in touch if you’re interested and want to find out more.
You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, you can write to us at 37 Station Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S41 7XD, or you can drop off your ideas at the Mercury drop box at Bridge News, Matlock.
You can also contact us via our twitter feed @MatMerc or on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/matlockmercury
Alternatively you call in and see us when we hold our reporter surgery’s every Friday morning.
They take place at the CAB offices at the Ritz building in Steep Turnpike.
Scores of you have already been in touch after we asked for suggestions on how we could make the Mercury even better.
Thank you for all your valuable contributions, please keep you ideas and suggestions coming in.
To help us gauge what you like and what you’d like to see, we’ve also launched a short survey on our website.
It only takes a few minutes to fill in and there’s space at the end of the survey for you to make suggestions, ask questions or raise any other issues that you think relevant
As an added incentive, complete the survey by January 30 and we’ll enter you into a prize draw to win £100 of M&S vouchers.
