Special fares also for locals

As well as encouraging more visitors from Derby and Nottingham to enjoy an evening out in Matlock Bath and Matlock, the special summer evening train fares are also available for local residents to travel for an evening out in Belper, Derby or Nottingham.

These great evening fares on the Derwent Valley Line also provide the option to enjoy a scenic summer evening walk between stations.

Summer evening train fares are a maximum of £3 return for travel between any two stations between Derby and Matlock; £4 to Long Eaton and £6 to Attenborough, Beeston and Nottingham from Matlock and other local stations.

From Matlock and other local stations, the evening return fare to Long Eaton is £4 and to Attenborough, Beeston and Nottingham £6.

These prices apply for travel in either direction after these times and are valid on train services between Nottingham, Derby and Matlock on Monday to Saturday after 1815 and on Sundays after 1630, until September 3.
