St Giles School falls from grace

A Matlock primary school has been put in ‘special measures’ – seven years after being billed as one of the country’s best schools.

St Giles Primary School, in Matlock, was visited by Ofsted inspectors on 20-21 June. The damning report that followed billed the school as ‘inadequate’ in every respect apart from pupil behaviour.
