Students dig deep to help community project
Young people proved they were model citizens by digging deep to help a community gardening project during the summer holidays at the University of Derby Buxton.
The team adopted a community allotment set up by Buxton’s Bright Opportunities as their chosen project – and presented Tracey Balfe from the organisation with a wheelbarrow loaded with gardening tools plus £200 cash.
