Youngsters at a school have been showing off their inner brilliance as part of a special day.
Year 7 students at Anthony Gell School, in Wirksworth, took part in ‘The Art of Brilliance’, which was a day of activities aimed at contributing to school and community life.
Pupils were encouraged to celebrate their achievements and show off their talents on-stage in front of friends and guests alike.
One of the more unusual spectacles, which delighted onlookers was a human sausage–maker.
Twenty School Champions are now working on how to share their new ideas with the rest of the school and are hoping to make a real difference to their community.
Staff -praised the children for thier involvement during the day.
