Taste of rural life at Ashover Show

Thousands of country fair revellers savoured the sights, sounds and smells of traditional rural life at the 85th Ashover Show on Wednesday.

The event featured dozens of horticultural, livestock and agricultural competitions as well as dog shows, vintage cars and craft displays.

A spokesman for the event said: “Ashover Show remains one of the most popular agricultural events in the country and enjoys tremendous loyalty and support from its members, supporters and visitors.”
