A teenage boy has sadly died after falling ill while riding his bike in Derbyshire.

The 17-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after the incident on Nottingham Road, Somercotes, on Wednesday afternoon.
On Thursday morning, a Derbyshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We were called following reports that a young man on a bicycle had fallen ill.
“He was taken to hospital by air ambulance but sadly died.
