The top five biggest UK Euromillions winners in history

If a UK ticket holder scoops tonight’s mammoth £150 million Euromillions jackpot, they will become the second biggest winners in the lotto’s history.

Shift supervisor Dave, and charity volunteer Angela, from Wisbech in Cambridgeshire, won big in October 2011.

It was only the third time they had played the Euromillions.

4. Neil Trotter: £108,000,000

Mechanic Neil Trotter, from Surrey, scooped the biggest jackpot of the year so far in March. The win put him in 745th place in the Sunday Times Rich List.

3. Anonymous: £133,109,926

The winner of this huge jackpot decided not to go public when they won in October 2010.

Record seller Adrian, and nurse Gillian, from Suffolk, won the second biggest jackpot ever in August 2012.

1. Colin and Chris Weir: £161,653,000

The biggest Euromillions jackpot in history was won by Colin and Chris Weir from Ayrshire, in Scotland. Their win in July 2011 put them in the Sunday Times Rich List ahead of the likes of Ringo Starr and Sir Tom Jones.
