Thieves targeted vehicles around Hathersage

Police officers from the Hathersage Safer Neighbourhood Team are appealing for information following thefts from vehicles in the area.

Offenders struck between 3.30pm on Friday, November 14 ,and 10.30am, on Saturday, November 15, when they removed the number plate from a blue coloured Volkswagen estate car parked along The Causeway, in Eyam.

Also, between 1.30pm and 3pm, on Monday, November 10, offenders removed a bike from the roof rack of an Audi A3 that was parked at the Grindleford Railway Station in Upper Padley.

The stolen bike was a black coloured Specialized S Works model.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about either crime to contact them on 101, quoting crime number 47659/14 (Eyam) or 48771/14 (Hathersage)
