Timbers are torched on village land
Timber was set on fire in North Wingfield and needed two crews to bring it under control.
The fire broke out on George Street at around 4.27pm yesterday on open ground.
The crews, from Clay Cross, found the area well alight but were able to put out the flames by 5.15pm.
