Top athletes launch summer of cycling
The Peak District and Derbyshire Summer of Cycling is off to a trailblazing start with Paralympian Anthony Kappes at the forefront.
The gold medalist teamed up with Olympic mountain biker Annie Last to launch more than 100 biking events running until October.
David James, chief executive of Visit Peak District and Derbyshire, said: “Whatever your age or ability, there’s a route and a bike to suit.”
