Chamber President Tim Parker said: “Each year the Chamber likes to pay tribute to someone who has made an outstanding contribution to business in our area.

“This year, there was a good number of nominations and the Chamber Board had a difficult choice, but I was delighted to announce that their first choice was Sir John Peace.

“With his roots firmly in Nottinghamshire, Sir John is a giant in British business. He has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in business, of which there are many highlights. He has played an equally important role in his community and is a worthy recipient of this award.”
