A whole host of great prizes are on offer to people attending Rowsley’s Blooming Great Tea Party this month.
The event – which forms part of a wider initiative to raise funds for Marie Curie cancer care – is to be held in Rowsley Village Hall on June 30 from 12pm until 4pm.
There will be a raffle, teddy tombola, bracelet making and a selection of other stalls available, not to mention an array of hot teas and delicious cakes. All the cakes will be donated by 10/10 Cake Company and all beverages are being donated by Stone Art in Bakewell.
There will also be a silent auction on the day and attendees will get the chance to bid for an array of prizes, including: a trip for two to London, by Andrews Coaches; dinner, bed and breakfast at Rowsley’s Peacock Hotel; a guided tour around Haddon Hall and cream tea; overnight stay and breakfast at Rowsley’s East Lodge Hotel; and a tour around Thornbridge Brewery in Bakewell.
