TOWIE star Joey Essex visits Chesterfield

Star of ‘scripted reality’ show The Only Way is Essex visited Derbyshire to launch his new haircare range.

Hide AdThe 22-year-old was overwhelmed by the warm welcome he received adding: “It’s amazing. I want to spend as much time as possible with every single fan as they’ve made the effort to come down and see me.”
Joey, who said he had visited Chesterfield before, signed autographs and posed for pictures.
Excited Emma Henson, 15, queueing with her mum Tracey Chantry, said she was a massive Joey fan adding: “He’s hot.”
Another TOWIE fan, Rachelle Maxfield, 17, of Bolsover, said: “They’re all so glamorous. He’s my favourite because he’s more down-to-earth than the rest.”

Hide AdMany bought some of the star’s new D’Reem range of products as an excuse to meet him.
After meeting the celeb friends Katie Hazlewood, 17 and Lee-anne Longmore, 16, of Chesterfield, said he was friendly and even better than they expected.
Lee-anne added: “It’s made my year. He asked how long we’d be waiting and said he liked my hair.”
