AROUND 150 people turned out at Bakewell Town Hall at the weekend to have their say on possible plans to move the town’s main car parks.
Set up by the Bakewell Community Interest Group (BCIG), the consultation asked residents about a host of ideas for the town.
The Mercury recently reported one idea to shift the two main car parks out of the town centre to help ease congestion.
Pat Lunn, of the BCIG, said: “We were very pleased with the level of interest shown and the number of response forms completed.”
The result of the consultation will be incorporated in an action plan which will be part of a final document to be submitted to Bakewell Town Council in April.
