TRAFFIC: Fuel tank splits open near M1
Motorists are being warned about heavy delays after a lorry fuel tank split open on a road leading to the motorway.
Two lanes have been closed after the incident took place at about 2pm on the A38 Northbound in South Normanton, prior to J28 on the M1.
A police spokesman said the lorry fuel tank ruptured and Highways England are currently cleaning up the scene.
Expect delays.
