This comes after a lorry jackknifed on the northbound carriageway between J29 for Chesterfield and J30 for Worksop, causing two lanes to be blocked.

Highways England has announced that recovery of the lorry is now complete and that all lanes are now open again.

The severe delays on the carriageway and junctions are now starting to ease.
