TRAVEL: Delays after motorcyclist crashes into barrier at Tibshelf Services

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after crashing into a barrier at Tibshelf Services this morning (Wednesday, August 24).

A spokesman for Derbyshire police said the man came down the slip round on the southbound entry to the services on a Honda motorbike before the collision at 8.10am.

The southbound entry slip road into the services is currently closed while the Highways Agency recover the bike and repair the barrier.

The incident is causing slow traffic around J28-29 of the M1.

The man suffered no serious injuries and has gone to hospital for a check up.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to resume between 10.45am and 11am, according to Traffic England.
