A Rolex watch, pocket watches and a charm bracelet were among items that people took along to be valued at an event at Masson Mill in Cromford.
Derbyshire television antiques expert Charles Hanson took part in a valuation event in the restaurant area of the outlet.
Other items taken along included a World War One postcard, art deco figures and jewellery.
Carol Tunley, who runs an antiques shop on Dale Road in Matlock, organises joint valuation events with Hansons. She said: “The Rolex watch was quite old and was valued quite high.
“Interest in antiques is up and coming.”
Carol opened Carol Tunley Antiques two years ago after being made redundant from her job as a teacher.
She said: “I used to trade in antique centres and out everything together and opened the shop.”
The valuation took place on Saturday between 10am and 12pm. Silver specialist Matthew Lafite was also there.
Valuation events are held once a month at Carol’s Matlock shop in conjunction with Hansons.
The next event takes place on Thursday February 11, between 10am and 12pm.
