A TROUPE of twinkle-toed dancers put on a sparkling performance to help entertain residents at a care home.
A team of nine dancers, aged from eight up to 20 and from the Claire Dobinson School of Dancing, attended the Presentation Sisters Care Centre in Matlock.
Sarah Taylor of Presentation Sisters said: “They performed 13 different dances with costume changes throughout.
“The residents thoroughly enjoyed the colourful costumes, variety of dancing and beautiful accompanying music.
“Presentation Sisters will be welcoming the dancing school back again very soon!”
Among the routes performed, there was ballet, temporary and modern.
Claire Dobinson, who runs the dance school, said: “We do this at various care homes and it’s such a nice thing to do, and for the children to perform in a different environment and to different people.
“It was only a half-hour display but they really enjoyed it, they’ve been talking about it non-stop.
