The Prime Minister is speaking to farmers at Longstone Moor Farm in Stoney Middleton, Hope Valley.

He travelled up to the county this morning and is visiting a rural village, where Tom Cruise’s latest blockbuster film Mission Impossible 7 is also being filmed.

The Prime Minister is making headlines for visiting Longstone Moor Farm in the Hope Valley, while Tom Cruise was spotted in the north of England earlier this week shooting his latest blockbuster, Mission Impossible 7.

It is understood filming will move to Derbyshire this summer.

Mission Impossible 7: Team filming dramatic scene at Derbyshire quarry – as Tom Cruise spotted up north

Boris Johnson is visiting Stoney Middleton this morning, the same village where scenes for the new Mission Impossible are being filmed.

Earlier this year, the Peak District National Park Authority (PDNPA) chose to accept Jupiter Spring Productions Ltd’s planning application to shoot at the disused Darlton Quarry in Stoney Middleton.

Work has been taking place to create a set at the location, with filming and site clearance expected to be complete by the end of May.
