Update: Man arrested after drugs found at Bolsover house

A man has been arrested after police found what is believed to be cannabis plants at a house in Bolsover.

Police officers, some armed, and with police dogs went to the house in Haldane Crescent at around 7.30am this morning.

The 21-year-old man was arrested this afternoon and is currently in custody being questioned.

Police officers forced entry into the house and discovered what they believed to be around 50 cannabis plants.

A spokesman for Derbyshire Police said: “Officers went to the house this morning to speak to a man about something unrelated. A search was made and they found cannabis plants.”
