Residents in Crich and Fritchley are being invited to a progress update about Severn Trent’s £30 million Ambergate reservoir project.
Local residents contributed to a recent public consultation and discussed the potential impact on the community.
The project team says it is now able to provide information about alternative solutions to address issues raised.
Work on the project to replace the old underground reservoir is due to begin in January 2013 and take four years to complete.
Severn Trent’s Andy Smith, said: “We are committed to minimising the impact on residents and the environment and providing safe, clean drinking water for the next century.”
The exhibition will be open at the Glebe Field Centre in Crich on Wednesday, December 7 from 11am to 8pm.
