Church Gresley Infant and Nursery School: School closed due to bad weather, road closures and staff shortages.

Ashgate Croft Special School: School will open for pupils at 10.30am to enable the site to be cleared of snow so that it is safe for everyone.

Grindleford Primary School: Due to the continuing disruptions from the snow, school is closed until 10.30am to allow for safe travelling and snow clearance.

Monyash CE Primary School: As roads into Monyash are blocked with deep snow drifts, the school will be closed today.

Lady Manners School: School is open today, for all staff and for students in Years 10-13. Due to the large amount of snow still on site, Years 7-9 are asked to remain at home today.

Frederick Gent School: The school is open today for staff and Year 10 and 11 students only. It is closed for Years 7, 8 and 9.

Waingroves Primary School: School closed to all pupils today due to the large amount of snow on site that needs to be cleared to make it safe for everyone.

Flagg Nursery School: Due to blocked roads and hazardous driving conditions, Flagg Nursery School will be closed for children today. The Easter egg hunt will be re-scheduled after the Easter holidays. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Horsley C of E primary school: The school closed due to boiler breakdown

Biggin C.E. Primary School: As deep snow is blocking all routes into the village, will be closed today. We will make a decision regarding the proposed trip tomorrow, later in the day.
