Vandalism at Peak District shopping outlet

Police are appealing for information after vandals caused damage at a shopping centre in Rowsley.

Sometime between 6pm on Saturday, April 4 and 9am on Sunday, April 5, offenders slashed an advertising banner displayed at the Peak Village Estates on Chatsworth Road, Rowsley.

Police also received reports last month of damage being caused to the roller door of a shop situated on the site.

“We would also ask shoppers and employees to be vigilant and to report anti-social behaviour or anyone acting suspiciously in the area so that we can help to stop a crime from taking place.”

Anyone with information about the damage is asked to contact PCSO Hayley Grundy on 101, quoting crime number 13900/15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
