Ten bands will be playing and ten real ales will be on sale – as a village pub hosts its popular festival on Bank Holiday Monday.
Mowfest will be taking place at The Barley Mow in Bonsall.
A barbecue will be available along with real ales and cider at the current Matlock and Dales Pub Of The Year.
Fun kicks of at 1pm with some of the best local bands including powerful and dynamic blues duo – The King Bains, renowned local Metal outfit – 3 Second Fuse, a new funk soul outfit from Sheffield who are creating a lot of interest – Cornelious Brown and Wirksworth based band Exile – fronted by arguably the best male rock vocalist around, Jason Barker.
Headlining will be the awesome Germanic Psychedelic rock trio BB Blackdog.
Landlord David Wragg said: “Ten great bands and ten great real ales. The beer isn’t free unfortunately but the music is.”
Landlady Colette Dewhurst added: “Its a massive coup to get the ‘blackdog here in our car park.
“Watching a load of my regulars wigging out to them is just brilliant.
“We just need good weather now, but the sun pretty much always shines in Bonsall.”
