Seven motorists are set to receive warning letters about their speed after the latest check by Community Speed Watch volunteers in Wardlow, Bradwell and Curbar.
On Tuesday, June 26 a hour long check was carried on Stretfield Road, Bradwell between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Five motorists were found breaking the speed limit.
Two drivers were caught speeding by a check on the B6465 in Wardlow, the main route through the village, between 9am and 10am on Thursday, June 27.
A third check took place on Thursday, on Bar Road at Curbar between 8.30am and 9.30am. All motorists were driving within the speed limit.
The data recorded will help officers identify locations for speed detection equipment.
