Waste collections will change over Easter

Dales residents are being warned to expect changes to their usual waste and recycling collections over Easter.

Derbyshire Dales District Council’s contractor Serco will work as normal on Good Friday, April 18, but there will be no collections on Easter Monday, April 21.

It means collections that week will be one day later than usual and will include a Saturday collection on April 26.

Looking further ahead, the same applies in the weeks beginning with Monday, May 5, and Monday, May 26, both of which are also bank holidays.

Residents are urged to use the online search at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/waste to download a collection calendar.
