Cancer Research UK Unity Bands are available in Cancer Research UK shops and online at www.cancerresearchuk.org/support-us/shop/world-cancer-day-2016 for a suggested donation of £2.

One in two people born after 1960 in the UK will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime but, with the life changing advances in research over the last 40 years, survival has doubled.

Today, two in four people survive their cancer for at least 10 years. The ambition of Cancer Research UK is to accelerate progress so that within 20 years, three in four people survive their cancer.

Have you beaten cancer? We want to hear about your fights against cancer and how it impacted your life.
