WEATHER: Showers and sunsine set for Derbyshire bank holiday

Today (Friday, May 23) cloud will break to allow some bright or sunny intervals but also one or two showers.

The odd heavier shower is likely, especially towards the evening.

Tonight further showery rain is likely through the evening and into Saturday with some of this likely to be heavy. Winds should be light.

On Saturday outbreaks of rain will become widespread and heavy at times during the morning, this likely to continue through the afternoon. Winds will be light.

Sunday morning will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain but turning brighter with some sunny spells, particularly on Monday.

There will also be some showers on Monday and light winds which will become strong on Tuesday.
