WEATHER: Temperatures expected to soar again as summer returns

Temperatures are set to soar again as summer makes a welcome return.

Forecasters suggest temperatures in parts of Britain will top 30c next week.

While the East Midlands is not expected to reach those heights, it is thought it would exceed 25c.

However, the next few days will continue to struggle with temperatures feeling more like autumn.

Today will only reach a high of about 17c, but it will remain dry.

That will continue until Friday when the mercury will rise once again.

At this point, there is no rain forecast.
