It may have arrived a little later than predicted, but Matlock and the Derbyshire Dales are now experiencing heavy snow.
The latest forecast from the Met Office predicts this is likely to continue for the rest of the day right up until around 4pm, when it will ease off and become lighter.
It’s a chilly day with temperatures not exceeding one degree Celsius and a yellow warning is still in place across the Dales, meaning motorists need to take extra care on the roads.
