Saturday has begun wet and windy across most parts of Derbyshire - but will it remain soggy for the rest of the day?

In the main it will remain cloudy with outbreaks of more rain, some of which may be heavy at times - especially over the hills.

Eastern parts may become mostly dry for a time during the afternoon, but it will become windy through the day.

There will be a maximum daytime temperature of 11°C.

Tonight, the cloud and rain will move away by midnight with clear spells developing.

Most parts will then be dry, but a few showers are likely over the Peak District.

It will remain blustery overnight, with brisk southwest winds persisting. Tonight’s minimum temperature will be 4°C.
