Met Office issues ice and snow warnings for Derbyshire
Weather forecasters have issued warnings of ice and snow for Derbyshire over the coming days.
The Met Office has put a yellow warning for ice in place from 8pm on Saturday, January 30, until 11am on Sunday, January 31.
Icy stretches are likely Saturday night and Sunday morning, with some injuries possible from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
There are also likely to be some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
Next week, forecasters have issued a yellow warning for snow for 24 hours from Tuesday, February 1 at midnight.
"Snow, with a risk of widespread ice, is likely to push slowly northeast during Tuesday, bringing difficult travel conditions,” the Met Office said.
