Witness appeal after attempted robbery in Bolsover

Police are seeking witnesses after a group of youths attempted to rob a man as he walked through Bolsover town centre.

At around 9pm on Sunday, February 16 a 43-year-old man was walking through the former Co-op car park, off Oxcroft Lane, when he was approached by a group of teenage boys who asked for money.

The man refused and a scuffle ensued before the group ran off in the direction of the market.
