A female walker injured her ankle after a fall in the Peak District over the weekend.
The woman, from Sheffield, was descending Jacobs Ladder on Saturday afternoon and sustained a suspected fracture to her left ankle.
The Buxton and Edale mountain rescue teams were called to help her.
Following treatment on site by team paramedics, the woman was packaged and placed onto a mountain rescue stretcher and carried for two kilometres down Jacobs Ladder to Lee Farm, Upper Booth, where the land ambulance was waiting.
She was then conveyed to a Sheffield General Hospital for further treatment.
