World War Two shell found in Starkholmes
An item believed to be a shell from World War Two has been dug up in the Starkholmes area of Matlock.
Derbyshire Police were called at 8.30am this morning to a remote field close to Riber Road.
Officers cordoned off the area and called in the Explosive Ordnance Division who took the device away at around 12pm.
