Wirksworth youngsters and their parents flocked to the town library for a festive sing-a-long and Christmas party.
Acclaimed singer and songwriter Mark Lilley performed a selection of popular Christmas songs to the children at the event on December 17.
Father Christmas and his helpful elf also made an appearance, much to the delight of the youngsters, who donned their own Santa hats.
Mark’s company Lilley Pond Singalong – responsible for organising the event alongside Derbyshire County Council – recently celebrated its birthday, after four successful years of trading.
The talented businessman has organised regular singing events throughout Derbyshire, including a regular spot at Surestart Children’s Centre in Wirksworth.
He said: “From working in partnership with corporate companies to private family parties, it’s been an absolute pleasure – especially singing with Santa. “I’ve met and made hundreds of new friends and hopefully inspired many future popstars along the way working as a professional musician.
“The Christmas sing-a-long was particularly fun as everyone was in the festive spirit and keen to sing and dance alongside Santa and his elf.”
