No place for wi-fi

The Matlock Mercury (July 19, 2012) reported the story of plans for bringing Wi-Fi to Matlock Park. I was very cross as I don’t think that green community spaces and places should be bombarded with invisible, possibly harmful radio signals without public consultation.

I tried to find a platform to air my concerns but found I was too late.

What I did learn was that previously the Matlock Partnership was involved with a sum of money to have Wi-Fi installed in Matlock Park and up to twelve businesses to implement -this has not been used (luckily for me).

What I would like to know is who is in charge of this?
