If you’re looking for a change in career or the first step onto a specific career path, then apprenticeships are a great way of doing so.
But this new scheme, which trains people how to be luxury concierges, is doing something a little out of the ordinary by paying trainees a massive £40,000 salary.
Exceptional customer service skills
This scheme (overseen by online marketplace HushHush.com) is searching for someone with exceptional customer service skills and a lot of patience.
Although no previous hospitality experience is required, people skills and attitude are a must for this role.
The job will involve tasks such as booking a table at an exclusive restaurant, procuring tickets to sold out events and organising private jets.
Aaron Harpin, HushHush.com founder said, “Luxury concierge is not your average job but it is one that can be really rewarding and can often lead to some fantastic experiences. We are looking for someone that can really bring their own personality and magic to the role.”
Applicants will be subject to a strict and thorough selection process to ensure that only the best are given the opportunity to fulfil the role.
Once selected, the successful candidate will enrol on a concierge training course, where they will be trained in servicing the needs of their wealthy clients, alongside being trained in certain etiquette techniques.
The role will be based at the head office in London, but the training process will take place in Monaco. The successful candidate will then be expected to travel to exotic destinations around the globe, alongside trips to the USA and Japan.
Who can apply?
This role is open to anyone over the age of 18 and the application process has a real focus on what the individual can bring to the role.
The job will have a salary of £40,000 per annum.
