In his second outing of the day, Baldwin was again second in the Withington Wheelers hill climb on Peaslows Hill on the edge of Chapel-en-le-Frith.

On this occasion Baldwin was beaten by 9.5 seconds by Adam Kenway (Team Zenith).

With strong support from Sam Clark in 3rd place and Sam Mansfield in 6th, Buxton CC also won the team prize.

It was a tough day with a strong headwind blowing down the steep climb and, although the course was shortened due to farm machinery frequently using a gateway at the top, times were slower than in previous years.

Buxton CC performances from Withington Wheelers climb:

2nd Lee Baldwin 2:40.1, 3rd Sam Clark 2:49.7, 6th Sam Mansfield 3:04.0, 13th Bhima Bowden 3:10.8, 14th Stuart Baker 3:13.8, 20th Sam Garner 3:28.4.
