Dale scoops second half marathon success

The 33rd Buxton Half Marathon took place last Sunday in damp and warm weather, with a sizeable field of 250 athletes from around the country taking part.

The elements provided ideal running conditions for the event, which travels through some of the Peak District’s most scenic countryside.

Establishing a clear lead from the outset, last year’s winner Dale Annable of Heanor RC, maintained first position throughout the race to come home to a comfortable victory in one hour 16 minutes and 52 seconds.
