Darley Dale Cricket Club is to hold a Reminiscences Evening on Friday 15th May, providing a nostalgic trip down memory lane for those who are, or have been, associated with the 152-year-old club.
The evening, which begins at 7pm, will see players, former players and supporters come together to relive past glories.
Entry to this one-off event is absolutely free with all welcome, whether you have had an association with the club in the past or not.
They’ll also be an opportunity for those in attendance to share any memories they may have.
Club Chairman Andy Topley commented: ‘Whilst the future of Darley Dale looks extremely bright, it is also nice to reflect and look back and celebrate the club’s past.
‘The Reminiscences Evening provides a great opportunity for those who have been involved in the club in a variety of capacities down the years to come together and remember some great times.’
Taking place in the club’s new pavilion – built as part of the 150 years anniversary celebrations in 2013 – food will be available as well as a fully-licenced bar.
