Alfreton Town set to face Barrow without suspended duo

ALFRETON Town will be without suspended duo Theo Streete and Jon Stewart for Saturday’s home game against Barrow.

Defender Streete was sent off for depriving a clear goal scoring opportunity in the Blue Square Bet Premier Division draw against Cambridge United on Tuesday night.

In the same game, goalkeeper Stewart picked up his fifth booking of the season.

Both players will serve a one match ban.

The Reds play their final game before Christmas this Saturday when bottom-of-the-table Barrow are the visitors to the Impact Arena.

Striker Ben Tomlinson, who missed the midweek game against Cambridge United, will require a late test on a foot injury. Kick-off is 3pm.

ATFC Supporters’ Association transport to the Boxing Day local derby at Mansfield Town will depart from North Street at 1.45pm.

The Reds Bar at the Impact Arena will be open from 11am until the coaches leave. Seats can be booked by contacting Mark Thorpe on 07857 558401 or 01773 836251.

Fares for the coaches are £6 each for adults and £3 each for children.

Kick-off at Field Mill is 3pm.
