Chesterfield sign Aston Villa youngster and Stevenage striker on loan

Striker Marcus Dinanga, 23, and midfielder Jack Clarke, 21, have both joined on loan until the end of the season.

Dinanga joins from League Two Stevenage and Clarke is from Premier League Aston Villa.

Dinanga started his career at Burton Albion and has had a number of loans spells including at Matock Town.

He signed for Stevenage from Telford in August after scoring 11 goals in 30 games. He has made eight appearances so far this season.

Clarke has been on loan at Yeovil Town this campaign and came through the Villa academy from the age of nine and has captained the club at under-23 level.

Left-footed Clarke has played a number of positions but is most comfortable in central midfield.

It takes the number of new signings under manager James Rowe to seven after Akwasi Asante, George Carline, Joel Taylor, Jak McCourt and Tom Whelan.
