Chesterfield vs Wrexham LIVE: Build-up, line-ups and odds

48’: Forde crosses and finds Dalby in the box - he is given too much time to control and strike, but hits it straight at Fitzsimons.

The second-half has started here with the Spireites 2-0 down.

Chesterfield did have a chance to equalise - McCallum simply had to score after fine work from Oldaker and Colclough. As it stands, Wrexham are top of the league - one point ahead of Notts County with a game in hand.

HALF-TIME: Chesterfield go into half-time 2-0 down after goals from Lee and Dalby. I’m not sure Paul Cook and his charges can feel too aggrieved about that scoreline. The Spireites have yet to test Rob Lainton in the Wrexham goal, and were poor defensively for both of the goals. Jamie Grimes in particular will not want to see that second goal again. A lot of work to do here if Chesterfield are to get anything from this tie.

45+2’: Grimes is booked shortly after Chesterfield go 2-0 down for a foul on Forde.

45’: Dalby is released down the right-hand side - he turns Grimes inside and out before rifling past Fitzsimons. Too easy for Wrexham here.

45’: Five minutes added on here in North Wales.

42’: Oldaker does well to release Colclough down the wing, his great ball was at the feet of McCallum - if he connects it was a case of tapping into an empty net, but he somehow fails to make contact.

38’: Another stoppage here as Tunnicliffe receives treatment following a coming-together with McCallum.

35’: Better from Chesterfield. Oldaker charges forward and passes to Mandeville, who finds Colclough. He played a threatening ball into the box - just beyond the reach of McCallum.
