Matlock Town fans who purchase a season ticket for the new 2011/2012 campaign have the incentive of seeing five home league games for nothing.
The Gladiators’ early bird offer - if the ticket is paid for before August 1 - means an adult will pay £144 with concessions (OAPs, Gold Card holders and children) being able to watch their favourites for just £88.
And an adult and accompanied child (15 years and under) can buy a joint ticket for £176.
Season tickets bought after August 1 cost a little more at £153 for adults, £93.50 for concessions and £187 for an accompanied adult and one child.
Normal admission charges have been set at £9 for adults, £5.50 concessions and £2 for children with an accompanied adult.
Although prices have increased slightly, Matlock chairman Tom Wright reckons that fans are still getting value for money.
“Having looked at what other clubs are charging we feel we’ve set our prices at the right level,” Wright explained.
“If fans commit to buying a season ticket and pay for it prior to August it works out at just under £7 a game which is excellent value.
“We’ve also vastly improved our facilities down at the Reynolds Stadium and we think fans can now come down and get an excellent view of a good standard of football plus enjoy the impressive social facilities we have on offer.”
Wright added that he hopes to announce the Gladiators’ new shirt sponsor soon.
Next season Matlock will retain the all royal blue format for their home kit but a change in their second colours sees them switch from all yellow to tangerine and black.
Meanwhile Matlock’s second Golf Day takes place at Matlock Golf Club tomorrow (Friday, July 1).
After the event the presentation of the awards will take place in the new Social Club on the ground.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed in organising this event which brings in much needed funds for the club” said Wright.
“If you’re not able to take part I’d like to invite you all down to the Social Club afterwards. There’s also entertainment on in the evening with singer Vicki Lambert who I understand does a Dusty Springfield tribute, so all in all it should be an excellent day.”
Pre-season training gets under way for the Matlock players on Thursday with the new Evo-Stik Northern Premier League season beginning in just over six weeks’ time on Saturday August 13.
The new season’s league fixtures are expected to be released on Wednesday, July 13.
