Buxton are hoping for a bumper crowd at the Silverlands tonight (Wednesday), with free entry for the visit of Matlock.
The derby clash with Town, kick-off 7.45pm, will see the club open the gates as a gesture of goodwill after the original tie was abandoned.
The clash on Boxing Day was called off due to floodlight failure, with the game 1-1 at the time of the abandonment.
The Bucks’ biggest crowd this season was the 1,1112 that gathered for the visit of FC United of Manchester.
Although that figure is unlikely to be reached, Buxton officials will hope that tonight’s attendance can challenge the second-highest crowd which was 414 for the visit of Ilkeston last August.
Meanwhile, Buxton fans aged 18 and under will get free entry to the away game at FC United of Manchester later this month.
The trip to Gigg Lane on Saturday April 12 coincides with the club’s ‘Youth United’ day.
